IT’S NOT OVER YET

It’s Not Over Until God Says It’s Over

Life can often feel like a series of chapters and seasons, each with its own ups and downs, victories and valleys. There are moments when we find ourselves at the end of what seems to be a very dark chapter, feeling as though the story may be reaching the final chapter.

Yet, there’s a profound truth that resonates deeply within many of us: a Truth that says, “It’s not over until God says it’s over.”

John 10:3-4

To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.

And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

The fact is that we face trials that can shake our faith and leave us questioning everything we have always believed to be true.

Relationships may crumble, jobs just vanish, health starts to decline, and dreams seem to shatter. In these moments, it’s easy to feel defeated, as though the weight of the world rests squarely on your shoulders. But during these times, it’s important to remember that your circumstances do not define your future.

Faith is a powerful tool during our struggles. It can guide us through the toughest storms. Many have experienced situations that seemed hopeless, only to find a renewed sense of purpose and direction when they stood firm on their faith.

The Bible is filled with stories of people who faced insurmountable odds yet found strength in their belief that God had a plan for them. Think of Job, who endured unimaginable suffering and loss, yet remained steadfast in his faith, ultimately receiving restoration beyond what he had before. His story serves as a testament that, even in our darkest hours, when his friends may have said “It’s Over”, God was still working behind the scenes.

When we encounter setbacks, it’s vital to remind ourselves that the end of one chapter is often the beginning of another. God’s timing is not our own, and His plans can unfold in ways we never anticipated. What may seem like a closed door could very well be the redirecting point towards a new opportunities. It’s in these moments of uncertainty that we must hold onto hope and trust that God is writing your story in ways that align with His purpose for your life.

It took me years to really Embrace this outlook but I found that it can bring comfort and strength when we understand that God always wants the very best for us.

So instead of giving in to despair, we can choose to believe that our current situation is not the final word. Each day is a chance to start fresh, to seek guidance, and to find joy in the little things. It’s an invitation to press on, knowing that God is always with us, ready to lift us up when we feel we can’t stand on our own.

So start this day with the knowledge that God has the final say. No matter how dark your circumstances may appear, no matter what anyone else might say, there is always hope. So, when the weight of the world feels heavy and the future seems bleak, take a moment to breathe, and pray.

Remind yourself that it’s not over until God says it’s over, and trust that He has a purpose for your life, one that is ultimately leading you toward greater fulfillment and joy.

In this tapestry of life, every thread counts, and every moment has significance. Embrace the uncertainty of your life, knowing that with God, the best is always yet to come. Your story is still being written. Keep the faith, and let hope guide you through. because It is not over, until God says It’s over.

Be Safe, Be Strong, and Be Blessed
