God Is In Control

As we continue into this new year, let’s embrace the promise that each day is a gift filled with endless possibilities. In a world that often feels chaotic and unpredictable, it’s essential to remember that God is in control.  He is guiding us, even when the path ahead seems unclear.

Tonight, we Take a moment to reflect on the strength that comes from our faith and God’s Word. Each challenge we face is an opportunity for growth. Trust that God has a divine plan for you, one that unfolds in His perfect timing.

As we navigate through 2025, let us assure ourselves that, no matter what comes our way, God is in control.

1. God Always Has A Plan:

Jer 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

This verse is a profound reminder that God’s plans for you are always good, filled with hope and a prosperous future. It encourages you to trust in God’s sovereignty, especially when you face uncertainty or difficulty. In 2025, this verse reassures you that God’s intentions are not to harm but to bring you into a brighter future according to His perfect will.

2.   God Will Always Provide You Strength:

Php 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

A powerful declaration of faith in God’s strength, which empowers you to overcome any challenge. In 2025, it serves as a reminder that you are not limited by your own abilities, but you are strengthened by Christ. Whether facing personal struggles or pursuing new opportunities, be assured that with God’s help, you can do all things.

3. God Is Always Working For Your Good:                                                 

Rom 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Recognizing God’s ability to work everything, even the most difficult circumstances, for your good is essential.

Remind yourself daily that no matter what happens, God is always orchestrating your life for His glory and your benefit. It encourages you to trust Him in every situation, even when you don’t understand.

4. Always Trust and Lean on God:

Pro 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Pro 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

This is a call to wholehearted trust in God. This verse is a reminder that while you may not understand everything happening around you, Trusting God’s wisdom and direction is what true Faith is all about. By submitting your life to Him, He promises to guide you on the right path, giving you clarity and peace.

5. God Will Always Provide For You:                                                     

Psa 23:1 A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

In 2025, it reassures us that God is like a shepherd who provides for all our needs, both physical and spiritual. No matter what we face, we can trust that God will take care of us, leading us to green pastures and still waters where we will find rest and fulfillment. Remind yourself everyday of this promise;

Philippians 4:19

19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

6. God Shall Renew Your Spirit:

Isaiah 40:31

31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

A Powerful verse that promises renewal for those who place their hope in God. In 2025, it will encourage you to turn to God for strength when you feel tired, concerned or overwhelmed.

It can remind you that when you put your trust in God, there will be renewing, uplifting, and empowerment to keep going, no matter how challenging life becomes.

7. God Will Provide Times of Rest:

Matthew 11:28-29

28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

Jesus extends an invitation to those who are tired and burdened, promising them rest. This year, you don’t have to carry the weight of life’s challenges alone. Jesus offers peace and rest to those who come to Him, providing the refreshment your soul desperately needs in a busy and confusing  world.

8. Only God Can Give You True Peace:

John 14:27

27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Jesus offers a peace that transcends anything the world can offer. Reminding yourself daily that despite the chaos and uncertainty in the world, you can experience God’s Peace.

It’s a peace that calms your heart and mind, allowing you to live without fear or anxiety, knowing that Jesus is always in control.

9. God Always Has Time:

Psalms 46:10

10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

This verse is a call to pause and reflect on God’s greatness.  Even in the busyness and distractions of life, it reminds you to take time to be still and remember that God is in control. It reassures you that no matter what happens, God will be glorified, and His purposes will prevail. You will learn valuable Truth this year.

10. With God I Have No Fear:

Psalms 27:1

1 A Psalm of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Be encouraged to give your worries and anxieties to God, trusting in His care.

In 2025, reconcile to the fact that you don’t have to carry the weight of your worries. God invites you to bring all your concerns to Him, knowing that He cares deeply for you and is more than able to handle them all.

This daily reminder that God is in control, hopefully, serves as a source of encouragement for you. It urges us to surrender our worries and embrace the peace that comes from our faith.
