I AM NOT DEFEATED
I AM NOT DEFEATED
2Co 4:8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
2Co 4:9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
2Co 4:10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be revealed in our body.
We have an enemy in satan.
If anyone does not realize and understand that, then you will live a defeated life whether they realize it or not.
His Formula for defeat has always been the same, because it has always worked.
Doubt: Mat 14:31 And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand to Peter and caught him; and said to him, Little-faith! Why did you doubt?
2. Discouragement: Fear is really these two factors working together. When we begin to doubt what God can do, then we doubt what we can do, which will lead to becoming discouraged.
3. Depression: This is the result of feeling Hopeless, Useless, and Surrendering to the thoughts of defeat.
Depression is a very real and dangerous think because it leads to the one thing that our enemy needs to defeat you.
4. Disengaged: From God, from your family, from your Church family, and from your own thoughts of the Truth.
Just like a lion waits patiently for his prey to separate from the herd, so satan waits for those to disengage from God and the people who love them.
5. Destruction: the ultimate goal. Destroy testimony, reputation, future.
So claim these verses today and say with a strong voice,
2Co 4:8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
2Co 4:9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
2Co 4:10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be revealed in our body.
I WILL NOT BE DEFEATED
