TRUE SUCCESS

Luke 10:1  And after these things the Lord appointed seventy others, And He sent them two and two before His face into every city and place where He was about to come.

Luke 10:17  And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the demons are subject to us through Your name.

And Jesus said...

Luke 10:20   do not rejoice in this, that the evil spirits are subject to you, rather rejoice because your names are written in Heaven.

It is the Lord that brings the success and the increase. He alone gets the Glory.

Our success comes through Faithfulness and obedience to do what God instructs us to do.

We sometimes look at success as to how many people show up or how much applause we receive.

But that is self gratification type success. What happens the next time when very few show up or there is no applause?

Did you fail? Sometimes Jesus drew a multitude and sometimes He only had one, but His success came from His faithfulness because of where He came from and who He represented.

So don’t get caught up in the worldly view of success. Your success can be found in your obedience.

Mat 6:33  But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Mar 8:36  For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
