JUST BELIEVE THAT YOU CAN

JUST BELIEVE THAT YOU CAN

Philippians 4:11-13

11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Everyone get overwhelmed at some point in life. We often find ourselves caught in a whirlwind of responsibilities, challenges, and unexpected obstacles. Yet, amidst it all, there’s a powerful reminder from the Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:11-13 that encourages us to believe in our ability to overcome.

Paul writes; “Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

What a profound statement! Paul shares that contentment is not dependent on our external circumstances but is rooted in a deep inner strength. This strength comes from our faith and belief in something greater than ourselves. It’s a joyful reminder that we can face any situation with confidence and resilience.

Paul’s journey wasn’t without its trials. He faced hunger, imprisonment, and persecution. Yet, he also discovered the secret to contentment: a steadfast faith in Christ. This teaches us that contentment is not a passive state; it’s an active choice we make to trust in God’s provision, regardless of our circumstances.

When we embrace this mindset, we open ourselves up to a world of possibilities. Think about it: if we believe we can overcome our challenges, we are more likely to take risks, pursue our dreams, and step out of our comfort zones. Each hurdle becomes a stepping stone toward growth and transformation.

The empowering words “I can do all this through Christ who gives me strength” remind us that we are not alone in our struggles. We have access to divine strength that can bolster us in times of need. Whether we’re facing financial difficulties, health issues, or emotional turmoil, we can tap into this incredible power.

Imagine waking up each day with the realization that you can overcome whatever lies ahead! This belief can fuel your determination and ignites your passion. It helps us to see challenges not as roadblocks but as opportunities for growth. With faith as our foundation, we can push through barriers and emerge stronger on the other side.

Today, let’s remember to celebrate the small victories along the way. Each step forward, no matter how small, is a testament to your resilience. Surround yourself with uplifting influences, whether it’s scripture, encouraging friends, or uplifting music. Let joy be your fuel!

Philippians 4:11-13 is a beautiful reminder that we can find contentment and strength in Christ, no matter what life throws our way. Let’s embrace the truth that we can overcome challenges, trusting that we are equipped with the strength to rise above. So, take a deep breath, hold your head high, and step boldly into the future with the unwavering belief that you can conquer anything! Joy awaits you on the other side!
