TRUSTING IN THE PROCESS

Trust The Process

Good morning and welcome into our podcast today as we get ready for our morning moments with Jesus. Today we're talking about trusting the process that God has for our lives.

We' talked about a lot this week about how much are we willing to give of ourselves to the Lord and how much of the Lord do we want in our lives?

We started out with humility and we've talked about patience and we talked about the value of time.

All of that encompasses today as we talk about the fact that, if we really want more of the Lord and we want to give more to the Lord, we have to understand it's a process, and it being a process makes us aware of the fact that we have got to trust the process.

Even when it seems like it's slow, even when it seems like we're waiting too long for things, even when it seems like, we can't see the full picture, that's when we have to trust that the Lord knows what he's doing,

Not just for the world, but for your particular situation in life.

At times life can seem overwhelming as we navigate through the trials and tribulations of our own lives. If you find yourself this morning in a place of waiting, maybe you're waiting for answers, maybe you're waiting for healing, maybe you're waiting for clarity on something. Today God wants you to know that you are not alone.

In these moments it is a time to draw strength and wisdom from the Lord that is all found in the Word of God. In Hebrews chapter 6, particularly in verse 13 15 the Lord reminds us of the importance of trusting the process.

He says “For when God made a promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by Himself, saying surely blessings I will bless thee multiplying I will multiply thee, and so after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

You see in these verses we find God's promise to Abraham.

Abraham was an example of unwavering faith. This passage states that for when God made a promise to Abraham, since he had no greater of whom to swear by, he swore by Himself, that is powerful.

Those words offer reassurance that even the most faithful among us have times that they have to endure the waiting process. You know, the act of waiting can be difficult. I know it is for me sometimes because I see a vision and I see what God is calling me to do. The most important thing I have to do, is to learn that it takes a process to accomplish God’s plan.

It tests your patience, it takes your faith and sometimes it even humbles you . We live in a world that often glorifies instant gratification, and that leaves little room for us to slow down, and sometimes endure the process of growth and waiting. Yet the message of Hebrews today encourages us to embrace that process to trust that the process is for a purpose. When we look at Abraham, we see a man who faced years of uncertainty. He was given a promise that seemed impossible. A child in his old age, a nation that would come from him, and there were no immediate signs that this process would ever come to pass.

The only thing he had was God's promise, yet through the long years of waiting, it seems Abraham's faith allowed him to lean into that process, trusting that God's timing was perfect. We could learn a lot from that. In our own lives we may find ourselves yearning for answers.

Perhaps your dealing with health issues today or relationship struggles, career uncertainties maybe your loved ones are dealing with health issues.

It's easy to feel disheartened during these times, but Hebrew 6 reminds us that patience is not about just waiting, It's about trusting.

It's about believing that there is a greater plan at work, even if you can't see it.

It's normal to feel anxious and frustrated at times about waiting for the process to unfold, but God invites you this morning to bring your doubts and fears to him.

The journey may be long, it may be windy, but we can trust that God is molding us into who he has meant for us to be all along. So this morning if you find yourself in a season of waiting for the process, take heart. Embrace that process, lean on your faith, surround yourself with positive things and don't hesitate to share this journey with those who can walk alongside of you.  Remember this God is with you every step of the way, guiding you toward the promise that he has for your life.   Be Safe, Be Strong, and Be Blessed
