Where Do I Go from Here?

Finding Guidance in Matthew 6:33

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

Many of us have experienced that nagging question: “Where do I go from here?” It’s a question that arises in various seasons of life—whether you’re facing a career change, navigating a relationship, or simply trying to find your purpose in life. In these moments of confusion, we begin to search for clarity.  One verse that reassures us in times of uncertainty is Matthew 6:33, which states, “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

The last part of Matthew 6:33 assures us that when we prioritize seeking God and His righteousness, "all these things will be added to you." This promise can be incredibly comforting, because Jesus has been speaking about meeting the needs we have, and the depth of His Love for us. It reminds us that we do not need to bear the weight of our worries alone. God knows our needs and desires; He will provide us with what we need in His perfect timing.

Today, Take time to reflect on your current situation. What are your worries? What is weighing on your heart? Bring these before God in prayer, asking for clarity and direction.
